I'm pretty proud of how good Daphne has been at the doctor lately. She didn't even cry when she was getting measured and weighed and having her temperature taken at the pediatrician last month. And today she did wonderfully at the cardiologist (aside from a few times when she decided she was done, which are to be expected from a little one).
Today's cardiology visit was to follow up on some newborn stuff from her first few hours of life. She had an EKG just an hour after she was born to confirm that she just had premature atrial contractions (when some beats come a little earlier than they should), which we knew from her fetal ultrasound. They should eventually go away on their own, but we went today to follow up.

She still has some premature atrial contractions -- it seems like there's one abnormal beat every five to ten regular ones (down from one every three before she was born). This shouldn't be a problem, and it will likely continue to improve. We'll go back in six months to follow up again.

She also had an echocardiogram today to check the structure of her heart. It's completely normal, so we're happy about that. We're super thankful to have such a happy, healthy little girl!
