First Sunday at church!

Because we were still at the hospital on Daphne's first Sunday, this week was her first time to be able to go to church. She was a superstar, sleeping through pretty much the whole thing, while being oohed and aahed over by adults and poked and prodded by all the excited kids.

Ben and I decided that it was as good of a time as any (or perhaps better, because my family was in town) for a baby dedication, so our wonderful pastor fit it into the service for us.

This little girl is not just ours, and we're committed to raising her in the ways of God, with the help of the church. We trust that God will guide her life, and we pray that she'll come to know him as she grows up!

It was really meaningful for us to make this declaration in front of our church family and to have their blessing and support.
